Patients at the forefront of BBC Look East’s special programme dedicated to cancer innovation

Patients are at the heart of the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital project; their lived experiences and ideas are shaping everything from what the hospital looks like, to the way it is run.

Patient involvement is something BBC Look East will be shedding a light on during their special 30-minute programme tonight, live from Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Members of our Patient Advisory Group and Patient Network will be part of a live studio audience.

The programme will be dedicated to the innovative work happening at Addenbrooke's to deliver breakthroughs in the way we diagnose and treat cancer.

You can watch the programme on BBC1 at 6:30pm or catch it on BBC iPlayer for 24 hours afterwards.

Our live blog (opens in a new tab) will also be posting regular updates through the afternoon alongside our social media pages.
